I made two big decisions yesterday that led me to post this blog. The wily day got away from me and I did not take time to blog, so alas, they are going down in the book today.
1. Today I decided the fate of the rest of my life. I accepted Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was seven and when I was 12, I got baptized, but I never made a verbal commitment "to serve the Lord until my dying day". I did that today because I know myself and when I commit to something--fully and truly--It's for life and I'm completely locked in. It feels so empowering to just verbalize this to my Father God almighty. And it is so comforting knowing that I am partnered with God for the rest of eternity.
2. Not nearly as substantial, I also decided that I am going to break the record for the most consecutive days running. I do not know what the number is, but I know the current record-holder is named Pete Pfitzinger. He went to school in the US, but currently lives in New Zealand. I'm going to contact him, get his number of days and the minimum distance he had to run each day...and then beat him! I usually run everyday except for Sundays, but I want to break this record. Current count: 6 consecutive days.
